For a really high class Rocking Horse, this is a hand made and stitched leather English saddle built round a wooden tree (the 'skeleton' of the saddle), and looks just like a miniature real one. Complete with hand stitched stirrup leathers, a dark hardwearing saddlecloth edged in red or blue, & girth strap (let us know the girth measurement of your horse). The saddle is buckled on with the girth, just like a real one, but two wooden pegs are provided which locate into holes in the saddle tree & the horse's back for a really secure saddle.

Important note if you are unable to supply measurements now we will still take your order but before processing it will contact you for the required information.
Body Measurements
A Length of body measured straight along the side. (This measurement indicates the size of the horse; we need measurement (a) even if you are only ordering a bridle.)
B Are there metal staples fixed into the side ofthe horse from which to hang the stirrup leathers? If YES, how far apart are they? (If NO, we shall supply an alternative for hanging stirrup leathers.)
C Length of saddle top.
D Measurement across saddle block from side to side. (Leave out if your horse has no saddle block.)
E Girth, measured right round horse's belly.
Head Measurements
Pencil a mark at each side of the horse's head, slightly below and behind the base of the ears, as shown in the drawing. Call these marks XI and X2 and carefully measure as follows:
